Whoo! MANTA-MAN is BACK!
Well, Manta-Man himself is gone, swimming or something with Sharkbitch, which is why I’m featuring the other members of this outrageous ensemble, starting with FOOLGIRL! I have a whole series of strips planned featuring the blindfolded beauty and her valiant attempts to be a superhero. Things will get very silly.
I’ll be experimenting with my approach and style with these comics, trying to get a looser feel, not so laborious as things got in the past few months with MANTA-MAN. So… we’ll see! The overall narrative of the whole “shark vs. ninja” thing really took things over for a while, and I’m excited to just goof around again, showing off new sides of these characters.
There’s SO much going on this summer, and I’d like to take some time exploring lots of different projects. The stories I have planned for MANTA-MAN are going to be a lot of crazy fun, and I might also be playing around with entirely unrelated ideas. And also videogames. I will be playing lots and lots of videogames this summer.
